  1. Quiz is quite helpful, but only 4 question is very less, i hope you can add more questions to all the sections. So far i see only 4 questions in all the Quiz.

  2. Hi John!

    Question 2:

Should read “Which of the following ARE not standard Salesforce applicationS…

As having multiple answers means that a plural must be used in the question.

  3. Hi John
I paid last night via Paypal however still not be able to access to quizzes and some contents?
I am not sure what is the matter
and I have not received any confirmation in my email as well. (t.mirzat@gmail.com)

    Thank you

  4. John,

I am logged in and able to leave comments. I have tried multiple times in multiple browsers to purchase your guide, but I still am unable to. I am not even able to see the first quiz in the Overview section.

I am very interested in your product and I hope you can help me in resolving the issues I am currently having.

    1. Wow, that was an extremely quick response time. I can now see everything and my account appears to be updated.

Thank you so much for the help.
      Scott.

  5. Hi John

Incase of multiple select questions, eg: Ques 2 : if I select 1 instead of 2 answers, will my answer be considered incorrrect ?

  6. John – I just signed up for the paid portion of the site. Should I have answered more than 4 questions for this section’s quiz? What’s the difference between the paid and the free versions throughout the site?

  7. There is a typo in answer of 2nd question.
Sentence “Sales in an application, not an object” should be “Sales is an application, not an object”.

  8. Very well organized. This will help a wide range of audience to understand Salesforce concepts and prepare well for the exams. Thank you.

  9. I just signed up for this site, and love the layout so far. I studied a little too much before deciding to take the exam. This is now forcing me to understand the basics for the exam.

  10. So glad I found this site, much better than the paper text and sites I have found out there! Looking to take the exam in Jan. 2015 will keep you posted on progress!

  11. @John – Can we please have more quiz questions? The real test for the website as well as the readers is to convert our readings into actions ( correct answers)

    Tx.

  12. Hi John,

I signed up and i am successfully logged in but still i am not able to take the quiz. When i Click on Quiz button nothing happens at all and It does not show any error as well. Please suggest what should be done.

  13. Hi John,

I’m trying to take the quiz but it keeps telling me “To view the remainder of this content, you must register for a free account. Please Login or Sign Up.” However it shows that I am logged in, any thoughts?

  14. Hello John, the little bar chart that shows my score against the avg score. I got 3 of 4 correct and my bar was brown and said 75% … the avg score was really short and green, and no %. Should I read that that on average people do really bad on this quiz?

  15. Hi John,

It looks like you have some good material on this site, but like others I am having problems in accessing the paid portions of it. I submitted a help ticket on this but I’m not sure if it went through, so I am leaving a comment here too.

I purchased the paid version of the guide this morning. I actually purchased it twice by accident, but still am unable to access any of the quizzes or other paid portions of this site. If I try to access any of those areas, I get a message to login even though I am already logged in. When I log in I am taken to the home page/product overview page. I have tried this in several browsers but am getting the same result.

On my profile on the Subscriptions tab, I can see both subscription requests, but both list “No” in the “Active” column. I haven’t received any activation email or other such request.

    Help?

    1. Hi Andrew,

Thanks for the heads up. I replied via email as well. I believe this issue should now be resolved.

I could not personally replicated it, although I understand what could potentially have caused it and have hopefully resolve the issue. Please try signing up once more and let me know if you have any problems. I will make the issues get sorted out.

      Thanks for patience,

      John

      1. Thanks. I tried it again and it worked, and now I can access everything.

You may want to let people know that if they are using Firefox with the NoScript add-on (or any other browser/script blocker combo) that they will need to allow netdna-ssl.com otherwise the purchase page will not work correctly.

      2. Hi John,

I’m trying to take the quiz but it keeps telling me β€œTo view the remainder of this content, you must register for a free account. Please Login or Sign Up.” However it shows that I am logged in, any thoughts?

  16. I can leave a comment which shows I am logged in but it tells me to sign in to see the quiz questions. Tried a different browser. Want to purchase the full product but issues like this make me weary.

    1. Hi Hillary – for which section? If you are logged in but have not purchased the guide, then you will not be able to view most quizzes. This is the way the site is currently designed to work.

For example – you should be able to see the overview quiz but not the service cloud quiz. If that isn’t the case let me know and I would be happy to work out the issue. Cheers,

      John

  17. In Question 2, I selected Accounts, Marketing and Invoices, which is not a
    standard salesforce application.

Only Call Center is a Sales force App. Why did I get error?
