    Just wanted to send a quick thank you for the website. I was floundering around trying to prepare for the exam, and finally decided to sign-up for full access to your site. The way you have the material organized made preparing much easier, and the practice exams were very helpful to get a sense of where I needed to focus my energy. I’m happy to say that, last week, I passed the exam on my first attempt. It is very obvious to me that Certified On Demand was a very big reason for my success. Thanks again for such a great site.

  8. Hi John,
    Hope you would help me clear some doubts regarding the 401 maintenance release exam.
    I got certified in 401(winter’15) and also wrote spring maintenance release.
    I was told that we no longer have the 401 exam valid and need to write APP BUILDER in-order to maintain the 401 credentials.
    Can you please throw some light on the above, Thanks.

    1. The Developer exam (401) is going away, being replaced by App Builder for non-programmatic types and Platform Developer I for developer types.

      You would need to choose one of those two exams to transition away from Dev401- I migrated to App Builder.

  9. I’m seeing free and paid content or not? I want to pay for the full version but I’m not sure what I’m seeing is the full version or not. Or is the trial version after signup includes the full version until a certain date, please advise.

    Your description so far looks pretty encouraging for a completely ignorant SF aspirant to take up the exam.

    I clicked on the “Payments” to allow me purchase the study guide.However, it takes me nowhere. I am still on the same page. How do i purchase the material and is it going to be a pdf that you will be sending across to the email registered?

    1. Do you get the page where you can enter a credit card or select paypal? Once you have sent through the payment, you can access the entire site – parts of it are blocked until then. There is no PDF, everything is online.

    I have gone trough to your website and found it to be good platform for newbie on Salesforce.com certification path.
    I would like to see your reviews on my path of getting ADM201 certification. I have been working on Zoho.com CRM and other Zoho application for almost one year. I have much declarative form of experience on it. Would this experience help me to get salesforce certification.
    More, when is the next exam of ADM 201 going to happen.
    Would your website have all updated resources available for that season.

    I just want to use this blog to get more experience in saleforce and not to get a certificate….

    Does anyone do this also in this way and could tell me if it’s worth to pay for it or are there better Solutions to get only experience in salesforce

I am interested in getting technical expertise and moving into Business Analyst as I am right now. Like in dynamics , Microsoft had application level training, then technical configuration and customization training, advance coding training so keen on getting your inputs.
